    Welcome To Govt. Industrial Training Institute

    • prncpalGovernment Industrial Training Institute, functioning under Department of Employment & Training, popularly known as "ITI, Kadri" initially started training activities in Pandeshwara & subsequently shifted to Karnataka polytechnic premises during the year 1958.
      The foundation stone for its own building was laid on 11-12-1958 by the Former Honorable Chief Minister of Mysore Mr. B.D. Jatti. The inception of craftsmen training was started in its own building during 1960, to cater to the needs of Industrial requirements and to equip the youth with suitable skills for self-employment.

      Schemes Implemented In the Institute
      This institute has been upgraded as GRADE-I Institute and the Principal of the instutute is of Deputy Director Cadre.
      The various Training Programme / Schemes implemented in the Institute are as follows.
      • Craftsmen Training Scheme(CTS)
      • Apprenticeship Training Scheme(ATS)
      • Motor Driving Training Scheme (MDTS)
      • Modular Employable Skill(MES) Scheme
      • Centre of Excellence (Automobiles)
